Major security flaw found in Antidote Software

Wednesday, February 20, 2019

A major security flaw has been detected by GoSecure concerning Antidote Software. The flaw allows someone to get access to someone's username and password, which then gives them full access to their computer, and any computer on the same network to which he has access to.

The problem is amplified by the fact that on a great number of computers, Antidote starts automatically, whether it's when rebooting or by opening software like Outlook or Word.

Since this flaw affects versions 8, 9 and 10, it's important to install as soon as possible a corrected version, which is already available according to André D'Orsonnens, cofounder of Druide informatique.
